There-Then-Here-Now

brings together 8 artists who disrupt the idea that a photograph is the result of a singular event. They use layering, collaging or rephotographing to create multiple realities: we perceive spaces within a space, gazes within a gaze and different moments in time unfolding at once.

While the artists explore many different themes in their work, together they invite us to interact with alternative space-time relationships. Our attention is drawn to the materiality of photography, and how photographs are objects which can be manipulated, distorted, cropped and reappropriated.
